Perfect Household Staff is delighted to introduce a superb opportunity for an experienced and professional live-in domestic couple to join a distinguished household based in the charming village of Studland, Dorset. The Principals maintain a beautiful 8-bedroom, two-storey residence set amidst extensive private grounds. The family highly values discretion, impeccable attention to detail, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to household management. A separate, fully refurbished annex is provided for the couple's accommodation. Due to the rural location, both candidates must hold full UK driving licences.

We are seeking a dynamic and committed couple with a strong background in private service to ensure the smooth running and meticulous upkeep of the property. The successful candidates will demonstrate extensive experience in maintaining fine homes and grounds, delivering the highest standards of service, and adapting flexibly to the seasonal rhythm of the household. The family is away most of the year, so the couple will have enough down time and enough time for deep cleaning.

The duties will include complete housekeeping and laundry management, care of antiques and fine furnishings, light gardening, property maintenance, driving, and household security. Flexibility will be essential, particularly during the busy summer months when the family is in residence. A discreet, trustworthy, and loyal couple will thrive in this role and will be warmly welcomed by the Principals.

Main duties of the Full-Time Couple:

General cleaning, polishing of wood and marble floors, care of antique furniture, expensive artwork, and antique books
Complete laundry management, including fine wardrobe care, pressing, and occasional packing/unpacking
Management of household supplies and stock replenishment
Oversight of temporary external cleaners during busy periods if necessary
Flexible working days during summer months and lighter schedules during winter
Occasional local driving errands using personal vehicle
General property maintenance including basic repairs and liaising with contractors
Light gardening duties within extensive private grounds
Property security during Principals’ absence
Occasional driving duties
Maintenance of pool and gym areas when required
Occasional light decorating and upkeep of annex and property exteriors
