As a Junior Butler, you will collaborate closely with a team of experienced Butlers, operating on a rotational schedule to cover various shifts. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with breakfast service, lunch preparations, formal afternoon teas, and serving formal dinners each evening. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of household items, such as polishing brass and silverware.
The client will provide a uniform in the form of morning tails, tailored to meet the requirements of the position. Furthermore, for dinner parties and receptions, you will be expected to don white tie and tails, ensuring a sophisticated and professional appearance.
In terms of scheduling, the job entails a 6-day workweek when the family is in residence, offering ample opportunities for rest and relaxation with 8 weeks of annual leave. Moreover, for each day worked beyond the set schedule, you will receive a day in lieu, acknowledging your dedication and commitment to the role.
