Perfect Household Staff is seeking a highly experienced and professional Travelling Butler to join an esteemed UHNW household with a global presence. The household maintains multiple residences and business operations across Europe, as well as in Asia and the United States. The principal also spends a significant amount of time aboard a 100-metre superyacht, requiring the butler to seamlessly transition between various locations, ensuring all aspects of travel and daily life are meticulously arranged.
The Travelling Butler will be responsible for planning and coordinating all travel arrangements, including flights, private aviation, ground transportation, packing and unpacking, and ensuring all necessary documents, visas, and personal items are in order. Duties will also include overseeing the preparation and service of meals, working closely with chefs to ensure dietary preferences are met, managing wardrobe and packing requirements, and providing impeccable table and butler service.
As the principal maintains business operations worldwide, the butler will be expected to assist in business-related duties while accompanying the principal. This includes ensuring meeting venues are set up to the highest standard, liaising with office staff, assisting with document preparation and organisation, arranging refreshments for corporate gatherings, and ensuring the principal’s work environment remains orderly and well-managed. Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive business matters are paramount.
Working alongside a second Travelling Butler, the role will require a flexible schedule, with responsibilities alternating between accompanying the principal on international trips and managing household operations in London. When stationed at the principal’s properties or business offices, the Travelling Butler will also step in to support local butlers when required.
Additional responsibilities include liaising with security teams, household staff, yacht crew, and personal assistants to ensure seamless logistics and an exceptional level of service. The ability to adapt to various environments while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and organisation is essential.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in additional European languages will be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working within UHNW households and a proven ability to manage demanding schedules and high expectations. A valid passport and the ability to obtain necessary travel visas are essential.
