This is a permanent, part-time, live-out position working Monday to Friday from approximately 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, with occasional weekend work required. The start time offers some flexibility, allowing for a degree of work-life balance while maintaining a consistent weekly schedule. The property is easily accessible by public transport, making daily commuting straightforward. Working as a Housekeeper within this household involves maintaining consistently high housekeeping standards, managing laundry and ironing, caring for delicate household finishes including brass, carrying out basic wardrobe management, and ensuring the home remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times while working comfortably around children and the family dog.
Working as a Tagalog-speaking Housekeeper in this household involves taking ownership of the daily presentation and organisation of the family home while supporting the principals with the smooth day-to-day running of the household. Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of all household areas to a consistently high standard
- Scheduled deep cleaning of the property as required
- Laundry, ironing, linen care, and basic wardrobe management
- Changing and rotating bed linen and towels
- Carrying out room turn-downs and ensuring bedrooms remain beautifully presented
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and family spaces
- Care and maintenance of delicate household surfaces, including brass finishes
- Organising cupboards, storage areas, and household spaces
- Maintaining excellent household presentation and organisation throughout the property
- Monitoring household supplies and notifying the principals when replenishment is required
- Working comfortably around two young children and a medium-sized family dog
- Occasional weekend assistance with cleaning may be expected
- Maintaining discretion, reliability, and professionalism within a private family home
- Working independently with excellent initiative while supporting the smooth running of the household
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper:
- Minimum of 3 years of private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Languages: Tagalog and English
- Legal right to work in the UK
