RUSSIAN-SPEAKING LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER COOK

TOTTERIDGE | BARNET | NORTH LONDON | GB

Salary: £50,000–£60,000 Gross per Annum, depending on experience

A private family of four based in Totteridge, North London, is seeking an experienced and reliable Live-in Housekeeper / Cook to support the day-to-day running of their large, contemporary home. The family consists of two parents, their school-aged child, a baby and a small dog.

A key advantage of this position is that a professional cleaning team attends the property approximately twice a week to carry out the main cleaning throughout the home, including floors, vacuuming and windows. The housekeeper/cook can therefore focus primarily on laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, cooking and maintaining cleanliness and organisation between visits, rather than undertaking the full deep cleaning of the property independently.

The role combines healthy family cooking, household organisation, grocery shopping and day-to-day laundry and garment care. Some assistance with the children's routines and occasional babysitting may also be required, although the parents remain primarily responsible for childcare. The family has a small dog requiring daily walks and basic care.

The current housekeeper is retiring after approximately five years with the family, offering an opportunity to join an established household and, potentially, benefit from a handover. This is a permanent, live-in opportunity for a capable and self-motivated professional seeking a long-term position within a private family home.

The family is offering a full employment with standard holiday entitlement. They will also provide the successful professional with an automatic car, expenses card and a bedroom with a bathroom ensuite as accomodation.
