Perfect Household Staff is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and energetic Chef to join a fully staffed private household based in Chelsea, London. The family is large and dynamic, consisting of eight adults and four children, although not all family members reside in the property at the same time. The household is lively, with a cat, a dog, and even a parrot as part of the family. Chelsea is renowned for its elegant architecture, exclusive shops, and vibrant lifestyle, making it a fantastic and accessible area to work in, with excellent public transport links.
Working as a professional Private Chef in this role will require exceptional flexibility, discretion, and the ability to prepare healthy, high-quality meals with a focus on international cuisine and a preference for Eastern-European dishes. The chef must be able to adapt to the family’s needs, which may include occasional entertaining, during which you will be supported by other household staff. Ensuring the kitchen remains immaculate at all times is essential. Only self-employed professionals are considered for the position of the chef.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: events 10:00 to 18:00 (occasional flexibility may be required for special events)
Language: English, Russian preferred
Salary: £20 – £25 gross per hour

Main duties of the Full-Time Private Chef:
- Cooking healthy, high-quality meals for the family on a daily basis.
- Preparing international cuisine with a strong focus on Eastern-European dishes.
- Serving meals to the family and guests when required.
- Occasional grocery shopping, with a driver and vehicle provided, or compensation for the use of a private vehicle.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Assisting with entertaining when required, with the support of housekeepers.
Requirements for this Full-Time Private Chef job:
- Three or more years of private chef experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
