This warm and respectful household is home to a family of four and their beloved cat. This is a permanent position offered on a self-employed basis, ideal for a candidate who is confident working independently and liaising with contractors where necessary.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced housekeeper with a strong work ethic and a meticulous approach to their duties.
This role demands high standards of housekeeping, with a particular focus on caring for fine materials, such as delicate fabrics, marble, and silver. Daily responsibilities will include all aspects of cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation. The candidate will also support the principal with simple food preparation for breakfast and dinner, such as slicing, chopping, and pre-cooking tasks, ensuring meals are prepared in an organised and timely manner.
This position offers comfortable accommodation in the form of a private one-bedroom apartment situated close to the principal’s residence. The apartment provides privacy and independence while ensuring that the housekeeper remains nearby and accessible when needed. The role suits a candidate who enjoys taking pride in their work, values calm and order, and is confident managing household tasks to a high standard. A working knowledge of liaising with external contractors is considered advantageous, and a willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the household is essential.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper:
- Full housekeeping duties across all rooms of the home
- Daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and tidying
- Laundry and ironing, including care for high-quality and delicate fabrics
- Seasonal wardrobe management and organisation
- Cleaning and care of specialist surfaces (marble, silver, etc.)
- Simple food preparation assistance for breakfast and dinner (cutting, slicing, pre-preparation)
- Basic pet care duties for the family cat, including feeding and maintaining litter area
- Accepting deliveries and managing stock of household supplies
- Running small errands when requested
- Liaising with contractors and service providers as required
- Ensuring the household remains clean, well-organised, and welcoming at all times
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational level of Russian
- Legal right to work in the UK
