We are currently seeking a dedicated and discreet Housekeeper to join our client’s household in Hindhead, Surrey. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, flexible, and trustworthy, demonstrating an exceptional level of professionalism and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Russian is essential, while good conversational English is also required.

As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of the household. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the property, managing laundry and wardrobe tasks, overseeing household supplies, and handling various errands. You will be expected to manage your time effectively, adapt to varying needs, and approach every task—whether large or small—with a proactive and meticulous attitude.
This live-in position offers a fully furnished studio flat with its own bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, with access through the main house. Benefits include private health insurance, life insurance, income protection cover, and a private pension scheme. This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, typically spread over five days with two days off. The standard working hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, though flexibility is essential as the role may involve earlier or later hours based on the needs of the household. Some weekend availability may also be required. The role includes 32 days of annual leave per year. Please note that leave may not usually be taken on public holidays.

Main duties of the Full Time Housekeeper:
- Ensuring all areas of the property are meticulously cleaned, including floors, carpets, and rugs.
- Dusting and polishing all surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and organising dry cleaning as needed.
- Scheduling and overseeing all linen changes to ensure fresh and pristine bedding and towels.
- Handling fine china, silver, and crystal with utmost care and attention.
- Maintaining an adequate supply of household cleaning products and reordering as necessary.
- Running errands for the client efficiently and promptly.
- Receiving and supervising contractors, ensuring work is carried out to standard.
- Performing online and in-store shopping for household needs.
- Preparing meals occasionally.
- Assisting with table service at dinner parties on rare occasions.
- Providing some care for pets, including walks and visits to the vet as needed.
Requirements for this Full Time Housekeeper:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
- Driving license (as a bonus)
