A private principal based in Hammersmith, London, is seeking an experienced and reliable Russian-speaking Housekeeper to join their household on a permanent, part-time basis, ideally as soon as possible.The role is for approximately 12 hours per week across three days, with Monday, Wednesday and Saturday preferred, although there is flexibility around the working days and hours. The preferred working hours are approximately 8:00am to 12:00pm, but these can be discussed with the successful candidate.

The successful Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the residence to a high standard, including general cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, laundry and ironing, as well as wardrobe management and ensuring the household is consistently well presented and organised.There is a friendly cat in the household, and the Housekeeper will be expected to assist with his daily care, including providing food and water, cleaning his litter tray, letting him into the garden and giving him some attention when required.

The workload is generally steady and well structured, as the household is primarily occupied by one principal. During holiday periods, however, family members may visit and the workload can increase accordingly. The principal is therefore looking for someone who is pet-friendly, trustworthy, flexible and easy-going, with a genuine interest in becoming a long-term and valued part of the household.

The successful candidate must have at least five years of relevant housekeeping experience and be comfortable working independently. The principal is open to either formal employment or self-employed arrangements, depending on the candidate's preference.

Main duties of the Housekeeper:

Maintain the residence to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Carry out general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and mopping.
Manage laundry, ironing and the general care of household linens.
Assist with wardrobe management and ensure clothing and personal items are kept organised.
Ensure the household remains tidy, organised and well presented.
Provide daily care for the family's cat, including food and water, cleaning the litter tray and letting him into the garden.
Provide appropriate attention and companionship to the cat as required.
Work independently and manage the regular housekeeping routine efficiently.
Adapt to increased household activity during periods when family members are visiting.
Maintain a discreet, respectful and trustworthy approach to the principal's privacy and household.
