A distinguished family residing in Kensington, London, is seeking an experienced and professional chauffeur to join their household team. The family lives in one of the capital’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, surrounded by elegant townhouses, renowned schools, and leafy garden squares. Kensington also offers superb amenities, with world-class restaurants, cultural landmarks, and excellent connections across London, making it a convenient and vibrant place to work. As this is a live-out position, the role is ideally suited to candidates already based in London, with commuting made simple by the area’s outstanding public transport links.

Working as a private chauffeur within a busy household requires a calm, reliable, and discreet professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the principals and their children are transported safely and punctually to schools, appointments, meetings, and social engagements. Journeys will primarily take place within Central London, requiring excellent knowledge of local roads, traffic conditions, and alternative routes. 

The family also has a small dog and a tortoise who will occasionally need to be transported, so an animal-friendly approach is important.

This is a rota position, shared with another chauffeur, with three days worked one week and two days the following week. The family spends around five months of the year away, during which time the workload is reduced, with only occasional errands required. This quieter period provides a natural opportunity for the chauffeur to take personal time off, though work can still be continued if preferred.

Flexibility is key, as the chauffeur must also be available to accompany the family on international trips lasting two to three weeks, ensuring seamless support while travelling.
