PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT COOK JOB

Salary: £23 - £25 GROSS PER HOUR
Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a lovely opportunity for a professional and reliable Part-Time Cook to join a private family household in Beaconsfield. The family comprises two to three adults and three children aged 10 and 7 and is looking for a Cook to prepare a fresh family-style dinner each weekday, with the evening meal served at 6:30pm. The family will provide all groceries, and the successful candidate will have access to a fully equipped kitchen.
This is a part-time, self-employed position working Monday to Friday, with the family away during school holidays. The Cook will prepare the meal, clean the cooking area afterwards, and finish once the kitchen is left tidy, with no requirement to remain during the meal or assist with serving or entertaining. The cuisine can be varied and does not need to be particularly elaborate, with a preference for food that is not overly spicy or heavily seasoned. There are no dietary requirements.
For a professional who would like additional hours, there is also the possibility of preparing breakfast on weekday mornings, with two breakfasts served daily at 6:30am and 7:30am.
Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.

Main duties of the Part-Time Cook:
- Preparing fresh, home-cooked family style dinners for five to six people each weekday
- Preparing dinners to be ready and served by 6:30pm
- Working with the family to plan weekly menus and agree on suitable meals
- Preparing a grocery list based on the agreed menus for the family to purchase
- Preparing a varied range of cuisine according to the family’s preferences
- Adapting menus according to the family’s preferences, with no specific dietary requirements or allergies to accommodate
- Cooking all meals from fresh ingredients and maintaining a consistently good standard of food preparation
- Depending on the availability prepare all daily breakfasts at 6:30am and 7:30am if additional hours are agreed
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised throughout the cooking process
- Cleaning and leaving the cooking areas tidy after each meal preparation
- Working independently while maintaining a reliable and consistent weekday cooking routine
- Following the agreed menu and making sensible adjustments where required based on the family’s preferences
Requirements for this Part-Time Cook:
- Minimum of 3 years of private cook experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Proficient level of English or French
- Legal right to work in the UK
