Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing bespoke daily meals that align with the family’s preferences, incorporating seasonal ingredients and dietary requirements.
- Sourcing and selecting high-quality, fresh, and organic produce, with a focus on local suppliers.
- Maintaining a spotless and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to the highest culinary standards.
- Creating a diverse range of menus, including international cuisines, tailored to fine dining experiences and exclusive family gatherings.
- Preparing for and managing private events, from intimate dinners to larger celebrations, including menu planning and presentation.
- Overseeing kitchen inventory, ensuring timely restocking through trusted suppliers and managing budgets effectively.
- Collaborating with household staff to ensure seamless service during events and day-to-day operations.
- Keeping abreast of culinary trends and introducing innovative dishes to enhance the family’s dining experience.
- Supervising and mentoring junior kitchen staff, if applicable, to uphold consistent standards of excellence.
- Organising and maintaining kitchen records, including inventories, supplier contacts, and meal planning schedules.
Minimal Requirements:
- Three or more years of private chef experience
- Two excellent, checkable references
- Proper English
- UK working permit
