PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT PRIVATE CHEF JOB

Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a versatile and experienced Private Chef to join a welcoming family of five in Salou, Spain. The household consists of two adults and three children, with the number of family members requiring meals varying depending on their schedules and daily routines. The family enjoys a varied approach to food and is looking for a Chef who can prepare fresh, enjoyable family meals, bringing variety and flexibility to the household’s everyday dining.
This is a weekday position, Monday to Friday, initially offering approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on the agreed working arrangement and the time required for meal preparation and service. The family is open to discussing different schedules, including the Chef preparing meals on site throughout the day, working split visits, or preparing some dishes in advance. This flexibility offers an opportunity to agree on a practical routine that works well for both the family and the successful candidate. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are no regular entertaining duties.
The role involves preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the family, with the number of people catered for varying between two and five. Breakfasts will be prepared for the family as required, lunches are generally for the two teenagers, and dinners are usually for all five family members. One of the children is a keen sportsman, so the Chef will also be responsible for incorporating nutritious, protein-rich meals to support his training and weight-gain goals. The family enjoys a broad range of cuisines, including Mediterranean, Indian, Mexican and Southeast Asian, and would welcome a Chef who is confident preparing varied, balanced and appealing family-style food. This position is ideal for a family-oriented Chef who enjoys everyday cooking, understands the needs of a household with children and is happy to work flexibly around the family’s routine.

Main duties of the Private Chef:
- Preparing fresh breakfasts, lunches and dinners for the family
- Catering for between two and five family members, depending on daily requirements
- Preparing nutritious, protein-rich meals to support one teenager’s sports training and weight-gain goals
- Creating varied family-style menus inspired by different international cuisines
- Preparing balanced, appealing meals suitable for adults and children
- Managing grocery shopping
- Planning and organising meal preparation around the family’s daily schedule
- Considering flexible working arrangements, including on-site preparation, split visits and advance meal preparation
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised kitchen throughout food preparation
- Making effective use of the fully equipped kitchen and available facilities
- Working independently and adapting menus to the family’s preferences and requirements
