This is a live-in position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., with flexibility required to accommodate the family’s needs. Weekends are generally free, but occasional adjustments may be necessary. The Chef will also travel with the family to provide consistent support and culinary expertise while away from home.

Responsibilities include preparing meals that cater to the family’s dietary requirements and preferences, maintaining a spotless and well-organised kitchen, and sourcing high-quality, organic ingredients. The Chef will also be responsible for cooking for guests, ensuring exceptional dining experiences on every occasion.

Proficiency in English is essential for seamless communication, while knowledge of Spanish is a welcome bonus. A valid DBS certificate is required to uphold the highest standards of trust, and a driving licence is necessary for grocery shopping and related errands.

Main duties of the Full-Time Chef :

• Preparing daily meals tailored to the family’s dietary preferences, including gluten-free dishes, grass-finished meats, bone broth, fresh eggs, smoothies, and protein shakes.
• Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards in food preparation and ensuring the kitchen is spotless and well-organised at all times.
• Shopping for high-quality, organic, and bio ingredients, avoiding chemicals and pesticides.
• Cooking for guests and ensuring all meals meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Staying updated on advanced culinary techniques and applying them to meal preparation.
• Accommodating occasional travel with the family, providing consistent culinary support during trips.
• Managing kitchen supplies and ensuring efficient organisation and maintenance of equipment.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours or tasks as needed to meet the family’s requirements.
• Creating a welcoming dining experience for the family and their guests.

 

Requirements for this Full-Time Chef job :

• 3 years of Chef experience
• Checkable references
• EU working permit
