Working as a Chauffeur within a private household requires the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and flexibility. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting the principals and their family members, often within a busy London environment. Experience with high-end vehicles is essential, along with the ability to maintain these vehicles to impeccable standards. In addition to driving duties, the Chauffeur will be expected to assist with errands and ensure that all vehicles are presented in pristine condition.
While security responsibilities are not formally required, a background in security is considered a valuable asset, particularly when working with high-profile principals.

Job Details:
Type: Permanent, Rota, Full-Time, Live-Out
Working Days: Six days per week, with either Saturday or Sunday off
Working Hours: Eight to ten hours per day on average, with flexibility required (some days five hours, some up to 12 hours)

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 gross per year

This is a live-out position located in central London, offering excellent connectivity and making it easily accessible by public transport. The family also provides parking for the Chauffeur’s personal vehicle.
Main duties of the Full-Time Rota Chauffeur:
- Driving the principals and family members safely and efficiently using high-end vehicles.
- Demonstrating expert knowledge of London routes and traffic conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintaining all vehicles in immaculate condition, including regular cleaning, refuelling, and arranging servicing.
- Conducting routine checks to ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and presentable at all times.
- Running errands for the principals, including collections, deliveries, and personal shopping tasks.
- Planning journeys in advance, taking into account traffic, roadworks, and security considerations.
- Providing a flexible, discreet, professional, and courteous service at all times.
- Applying any previous security knowledge where appropriate to enhance safety and awareness.
Requirements for this Full-Time Chauffeur job:
- Three or more years of private chauffeur experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
- Driving licence
