A private family based in Hackney, London, is seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Family Chauffeur to join their household on a permanent basis. The position is available to start ASAP and will involve approximately 10 hours per week, primarily during weekday afternoons.

The Chauffeur's main responsibility will be the safe and punctual transportation of the family's three children, with the majority of the driving focused on their 10-year-old daughter. The successful candidate will collect the children from school and transport them to their extracurricular activities, as well as return them home or take them to other agreed destinations as required.

Previous experience working for private families is mandatory for this position. Experience driving children is highly desirable, and the successful candidate should be confident navigating London and managing busy traffic while maintaining a calm, safe and professional approach at all times.

Main Duties of the Family Chauffeur:

Providing safe, punctual and professional transportation for the family's three children.
Primarily collecting the 10-year-old daughter from school and transporting her to extracurricular activities.
Driving the children to and from school, extracurricular activities and other destinations as required by the family.
Ensuring the children are transported safely and comfortably at all times.
Maintaining a calm, patient and reassuring manner when driving and accompanying the children.
Planning journeys carefully and allowing sufficient time for London traffic and potential delays.
Ensuring all collections and drop-offs are completed punctually and communicating with the family regarding any changes or delays.
Maintaining complete discretion and confidentiality regarding the family and their private affairs.

Requirements for this Family Chauffeur Job:

Previous professional experience working for a private family is mandatory.
Previous experience driving children is strongly preferred.
A full UK driving licence with a safe and responsible driving history.
Excellent knowledge of London and confidence navigating busy roads and traffic.
A calm, patient and reassuring manner when driving children.
Excellent punctuality, reliability and time-management skills.
Professional, discreet, trustworthy and well-presented.
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain clear communication with the parents.
Able to work independently and take full responsibility for the children's journeys.
Flexible and willing to adapt to the family's schedule and requirements.
Able to work on a self-employed basis.
