A private family based in Dubai is seeking an experienced, reliable, and discreet Chauffeur for a long-term, full-time position, driving a Mercedes-Maybach for the principal, family, and guests.
The household is situated in one of Dubai's most sought-after waterfront districts, offering excellent connectivity across the city alongside a polished, professional working environment. The family is warm and personable, though expectations around presentation, discretion, and service standards are genuinely high.
The successful Chauffeur will be responsible for the safe, smooth transport of the principal, two young children, and guests, including journeys to the office, meetings and school, as well as reliable errands, collections and deliveries. The vehicle must be kept in immaculate condition at all times, and the Chauffeur will be expected to plan routes and timings independently.
Given that two young children are part of the household, genuine experience transporting children safely, including the correct use of child car seats, is essential. The role also carries a quiet security dimension, and the successful Chauffeur should bring strong situational awareness and a naturally discreet, protective manner when the family is in the vehicle.
The family requires flexible coverage across daytime, evening and occasional weekend duties, with round-the-clock availability managed through an agreed rota or relief-driver arrangement rather than falling to one person alone. The schedule becomes busier around peak periods such as the festive season, when additional flexibility is particularly appreciated.
This position would suit a polished, service-minded Chauffeur who takes genuine pride in presentation and discretion, and who is comfortable working to the standards expected of a VIP private household. Good spoken English is essential, and Russian language ability would be a strong advantage given the principal's wider business circle.
Living at the household or nearby is preferred, subject to agreement, and accommodation, meals and additional benefits can be discussed separately alongside the salary. This is a formally employed position rather than a freelance arrangement.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transporting the principal, family members, children and guests at all times
- Opening and closing vehicle doors and assisting with luggage, shopping and strollers
- Having the vehicle ready on time, with a comfortable cabin temperature set before each departure
- Maintaining the Maybach in immaculate condition inside and out, arranging appropriate specialist cleaning
- Monitoring fuel, tyre pressure, warning lights and servicing requirements, reporting issues immediately
- Independently planning routes, traffic alternatives, parking and pickup timings
- Reliably carrying out errands, collections, deliveries and shopping as required
- Keeping accurate records and receipts for any funds entrusted for errands or expenses
- Coordinating schedules and journeys closely with the family or their personal assistant
- Safely transporting the children using correctly fitted car seats, and never leaving them unattended
- Maintaining strong situational awareness and following agreed protocols to support the family's security and privacy
- Upholding strict confidentiality regarding the family's routines, movements and personal information
Minimum Requirements
- Valid UAE driving licence with proven experience as a private family or VIP Chauffeur
- At least five years' driving experience in the UAE, ideally including Mercedes-Maybach or comparable luxury vehicles
- Excellent defensive driving skills, with smooth, considerate braking and acceleration
- Genuine experience transporting children safely, including correct use of child car seats
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming, with a polished, professional uniformed appearance
- A polite, calm and discreet manner, with strong professional service etiquette
- Good communicative English is essential
- Excellent knowledge of Dubai, including traffic patterns, airports, hotels and suitable pickup locations
- Punctual, proactive and well organised, with strong situational awareness
- Verifiable references, a clean driving history and a police clearance certificate, or willingness to obtain one
