Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a caring, experienced, and proactive Nanny Housekeeper to join a welcoming private family household. The family comprises two working adults and two young children, aged 18 months and 5 months, with teenage children also visiting at weekends and during school holidays. The principals are seeking a warm and dependable professional who enjoys supporting children's development, creating a positive daily routine, and helping maintain a comfortable and organised home. This role would suit someone looking for a long-term position within a friendly private household, combining attentive childcare with practical household support.

This is a permanent, live-in position with formal employment and pension contributions. The working day begins when the children wake and generally continues until 6:00pm, with lunch breaks arranged around the family's routine. The successful candidate will have a private en-suite bedroom, with the bathroom shared with the principals' teenage child, who visits only at weekends and during occasional school holidays. Food is provided. One working weekend per month is expected and will be paid additionally, with further opportunities for weekend hours and occasional night duties, which are compensated separately. Overnight support is required only occasionally, and a full driving licence is essential for the role.

Working as a Nanny Housekeeper in this household involves providing attentive care for the two young children while supporting their daily routines, development, and wellbeing. Responsibilities include preparing children's meals, feeding, changing nappies, supporting weaning and potty training as appropriate, and managing washing and bedtime routines. As the children grow, the role will also include arranging age-appropriate activities, taking them to classes and clubs, and enjoying walks and outings. Alongside childcare, the Nanny Housekeeper will share general housekeeping duties with the existing household team, including cleaning, laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation. This position would suit a nurturing and organised professional who is confident caring for babies and toddlers, works well as part of a team, and is interested in building a lasting relationship with the family.

Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.
