PERMANENT FULL- TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER NANNY JOB

A warm and welcoming family based in Lugano is looking for an experienced, local Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term, full-time basis. This is a lovely, English-speaking family who value positivity, friendliness, and a genuinely warm presence in the home, someone who fits naturally into a small existing team, working alongside a PA and a Live-In Nanny.
The family currently reside in temporary accommodation within a hotel apartment complex, and are looking for someone reliable to help with general cleaning and day-to-day household support during this period, and to continue with them long-term. There is one child, who attends school full-time, so a genuinely child-friendly attitude is important. A french bulldog will also be joining the family soon, so comfort around animals is a must.
The ideal candidate is someone who follows instruction well, delivers high-quality, detail-oriented housekeeping, and is happy to help with some light cooking alongside general cleaning duties. Driving is a big bonus, and familiarity with the local roads and routes around Lugano would be especially welcome.
Position: Permanent, Full-Time, Live-Out Housekeeper Nanny
Location: Lugano, Switzerland (candidates within close driving distance preferred)
Hours: Minimum 45 hours per week, 5–6 days per week (schedule can be discussed and adapted to suit the right candidate)
Salary: From CHF 60,000 gross per annum, formal employment
Language: Fluent English essential; Italian a strong bonus
Driving: A big bonus, especially with local Lugano knowledge
Pets: Yes, a French Bulldog joining soon
Children: Yes, one child, attending school full-time; and an18 m.o.
Start Date: ASAP
The Duties:
- General daily cleaning and household upkeep
- Some light cooking as needed
- Working closely and collaboratively as part of a small household team, alongside a PA and a Live-In Nanny
- Bringing a warm, positive, and friendly attitude to a household that values this highly
- Following instructions closely and maintaining high standards of attention to detail
- Comfortable being around a young dog once it joins the family
- Comfortable being around young children
Minimal Requirements:
- Fluent English; Italian a strong advantage
- Comfortable working long-term with a family and settling into an established household team
- Warm, friendly, and positive demeanour
- Comfortable around children and pets
- Driving licence and local area knowledge a strong bonus
