Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced, versatile, and warm-hearted Housekeeper/Nanny to join a dynamic international private family based in Lugano, Switzerland. This is a live-out role combining household management with hands-on family support, ideally suited to a professional who genuinely enjoys variety and thrives within a busy, close-knit household team.
The successful candidate will work alongside the family's dedicated live-in Nanny, forming part of a coordinated household team. While primary childcare responsibilities will remain with the Nanny, this role plays an important supporting part in ensuring the smooth, continuous, and reliable running of daily family life — stepping in to provide childcare cover during the Nanny's rest periods or other absences, and contributing meaningfully to the overall wellbeing of the household.

Working Time: 51 hours per week
Salary: CHF 60,000 gross per annum (CHF 5,000 gross per month)
Location: Lugano, Switzerland
Driving: Essential — school drop-offs and pick-ups required
Starting Date: 1st August
The Duties:
- Comprehensive household management, cleaning, and general housekeeping duties throughout the property
- Cooking and meal preparation for the family
- Driving responsibilities, including school drop-offs and pick-ups
- Supporting with childcare as required, working closely alongside the family's dedicated Nanny
- Providing reliable childcare cover for the live-in Nanny during rest periods or other absences, ensuring continuity of care for the children at all times
Minimal Requirements:
- Proven private household experience, ideally combining housekeeping and childcare
- Confident, capable cook
- Full, valid driving licence
- Two or more excellent, checkable professional references
- Childcare qualifications or certificates (or willingness to obtain, where required)
- Criminal record clearance / background check
- Valid right to work in Switzerland, or eligibility to obtain a Swiss work permit
- Flexible, warm, and genuinely collaborative — comfortable working as part of a small household team
