Perfect Household Staff is delighted to assist a warm and welcoming family in Bahrain in their search for a professional and nurturing Maternity Nurse to care for their 8-week-old baby. This is a live-in position on a one-year contract, offering the opportunity to provide expert newborn care while supporting a first-time mother during this special period.

The role involves establishing routines, feeding support, sleep training, and overall infant well-being. The ideal candidate will be gentle, reassuring, and highly experienced with newborns, offering guidance while respecting the family's preferences. This is a formal household, where the maternity nurse will be required to wear a white uniform. The family employs a full domestic team, including a cook, housekeepers, and a driver.
The maternity nurse will also work alongside the family's current nanny, who will be assisting until March 2025 to ensure a smooth transition. As the family frequently travels, particularly to Croatia, flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential.
The right candidate will possess a positive and optimistic attitude, strong organisational skills, and proven experience in maternity nursing. A DBS certificate and Infant CPR & First Aid certification are required, while additional qualifications in child development, sleep training, or early childhood education would be highly valued.
The ideal start date is as soon as possible, and the family is looking forward to welcoming a dedicated maternity nurse into their home.

Live in Maternity Nurse duties will include:
- Providing expert care for an 8-week-old baby, including feeding, sleep training, and establishing healthy routines.
- Supporting and guiding a first-time mother, offering reassurance and professional advice while respecting parental preferences.
- Monitoring the infant’s development, ensuring overall well-being, and responding promptly to any needs.
- Collaborating with the family's existing nanny until March 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.
- Travelling with the family, primarily to Croatia, and adapting to different environments as needed.
- Working on a live-in basis with a one-year contract.
Requirements for this Full-Time Maternity Nurse job:
- Proven experience as a Maternity Nurse, specialising in newborn care.
- Warm, nurturing, and highly attentive, with a positive and professional attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to establish routines.
- DBS certificate and Infant CPR & First Aid certification (mandatory).
- Flexibility and willingness to travel with the family.
