Key Responsibilities:
- Providing round-the-clock newborn care, ensuring a nurturing and structured environment.
- Establishing and maintaining healthy feeding, sleeping, and developmental routines.
- Supporting parents with guidance on baby care, ensuring a smooth transition into parenthood.
- Performing all nursery duties, including changing, bathing, and dressing the newborn.
- Managing bottle sterilisation and preparation of infant formula or supporting breastfeeding.
- Monitoring developmental milestones and offering expert advice when needed.
- Maintaining a calm, hygienic, and organised nursery environment.
- Providing overnight care as needed, ensuring the baby’s comfort and well-being.
- Travelling with the family when required, offering seamless continuity of care.
- Working collaboratively with other household staff to ensure a smooth daily routine.
Minimal Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maternity Nanny, Maternity Nurse, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of newborn care, including feeding, sleep training, and developmental milestones.
- A recognised maternity qualification (e.g., MNT, Norland, CACHE, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Paediatric First Aid certification and an up-to-date DBS check (essential).
- Excellent communication skills and a supportive, reassuring approach.
- Flexibility to adapt to the family’s needs, including overnight care and travel.
- A high level of professionalism, discretion, and adaptability within a VIP household
- UK working permit.
