Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a part-time housekeeper/cook in Kensington, London. This role is based in the home of a lovely principal, a businesswoman who values reliability, meticulous attention to detail, and trustworthiness. The successful candidate will become a valued part of the household, ensuring the home remains clean, organised, and welcoming.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organised, calm, and independent housekeeper/cook who takes pride in maintaining a pristine home. The role involves general housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the residence.
Additionally, the housekeeper/cook will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the principal. Once a year, the principal’s elderly parent visits for three months, during which the housekeeper will provide occasional companionship. The household also includes a friendly Samoyed, so pet care such as feeding and occasional walks will be required.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently. They should take initiative, have excellent attention to detail, and create a well-maintained and pleasant living space.

- Working Hours: 12 hours per week

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook:
- Regular cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Ensuring bathrooms are kept hygienic and well-maintained
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, appliances, and countertops
- Tidying and organising living spaces and bedrooms
- Laundry and wardrobe management, ensuring all garments are properly cared for and organised
- Cooking nutritious meals for the principal
- Providing occasional companionship to the principal’s elderly parent during their annual three-month visit
- Pet care, including feeding and occasional walks for the resident Samoyed
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook job:
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in Mandarin
- Checkable references
- UK working permit
