The household consists of two hands-on parents and their three children, aged 5, 9 and 11 years old. Both parents are actively involved in the children's daily routines, and the successful candidate will work as part of a team, supporting the family where needed while primarily focusing on maintaining the home.

The role is mainly focused on housekeeping within the family's three-bedroom property, ensuring the home remains clean, organised and well maintained. Additional responsibilities will include occasional school runs, childcare support when required, and preparing simple family-style evening meals. The successful candidate should be comfortable with variety and able to adapt their duties depending on the family's schedule. The family also has a cat, so candidates should be comfortable working in a pet-friendly household.

Main Duties of the Housekeeper/Nanny:

Carrying out thorough cleaning throughout the three-bedroom home to an excellent standard.
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and maintaining all rooms in immaculate condition.
Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management.
Changing bed linen and towels.
Ensuring the home remains clean, tidy and well organised at all times.
Preparing simple family-style evening meals when required.
Assisting with occasional school drop-offs and pick-ups, with the school located within walking distance.
Supervising the children when required and providing occasional childcare support.
Working closely with both parents and adapting duties according to the family's daily routine.
Monitoring household supplies and informing the principals when replenishment is required.

Requirements for this Housekeeper/Nanny Job:

Minimum of 3 years' professional housekeeping experience within private households.
Previous experience working as a Housekeeper/Nanny or in a similar role.
Excellent spoken English.
Positive, friendly and easygoing personality.
Flexible with a can-do attitude.
Comfortable working with school-aged children.
Able to work independently while also enjoying being part of a collaborative family environment.
Comfortable working around cats.
At least two excellent, checkable references.
Valid right to work in the UK.
