RUSSIAN SPEAKING LIVE-IN/LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER NANNY JOB

SALARY: £40,000- £48,000 per annum gross
An exciting and truly unique opportunity has arisen to become an integral part of a vibrant, internationally minded family based in the heart of Angel, Islington — one of London's most beloved and culturally rich neighbourhoods. The household comprises two warm and busy principals and two wonderful daughters aged 5 and 11. The family are preparing to relocate to a stunning, spacious 400-square-metre residence across two floors in the prestigious NW3 area from June 2026, and they are now seeking an exceptional, energetic, and Russian-speaking Housekeeper-Nanny to become a trusted and valued member of their household team.
This is a role that calls for someone truly special — a bright, proactive, and genuinely warm-hearted professional who brings energy, initiative, and a positive presence to everything they do. The successful candidate will be the kind of person who walks into a room and immediately makes it a better place — someone who anticipates needs before they arise, takes ownership of the household with pride and confidence, and builds a natural, joyful rapport with both the adults and the children in the family.
Regarding the living arrangement — the role is currently offered on a live-out basis whilst the family's new NW3 home undergoes its final preparations. An earlier start is warmly welcomed, as support during the house move and transition period would be greatly appreciated. From mid-June 2026, the position mat transition to a live-in arrangement (optional), with the incoming professional benefitting from a beautifully designed, fully self-contained private room featuring its own separate entrance via the garden, a private en-suite shower room, and toilet facilities — offering complete independence and privacy whilst remaining connected to the warmth of the family home. All utilities, food, and household supplies are fully provided.

Duties Include:
- Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for children
- Daily cleaning and tidying of all rooms and living areas, with periodic deep cleaning throughout the property
- Managing the family's wardrobes with a thorough understanding of fabric care, correct washing protocols, and immaculate ironing and pressing
- Conducting weekly grocery shopping and managing all household supplies and stock levels
- Collecting the younger daughter from school and providing a warm, attentive welcome home
- Supervising and supporting both children during the evenings — engaging them in educational activities, games, and age-appropriate entertainment
- Adapting fluidly to the family's daily schedule and evolving needs with a positive and can-do attitude
- Providing practical support during the house move and transition period
- Managing the household confidently and independently during the family's absences
Minimal Requirements:
- 3+ years of private household experience
- Two excellent, checkable references from previous employers
- Fluent Russian
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom
- Bright, energetic, and warm personality with a proactive and self-motivated approach
- Genuine love of family life and comfort working closely with and around young children
