The role primarily involves full housekeeping responsibilities for a large, luxurious seven-bedroom home with seven bathrooms, spacious living areas, a dining room, and a sitting room. Duties include meticulous cleaning and maintenance of high-end materials, such as marble, natural wood, and stone, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards. Additional tasks include managing laundry, ironing, and general household organisation to ensure a comfortable and orderly home environment.

Although the focus is primarily on housekeeping, the position also includes occasional childcare responsibilities. This involves providing light, supportive supervision for the family’s four children, aged 13, 12, 12, and 7, as needed. The family values a candidate who is warm and attentive, capable of assisting with routines and offering support during occasional family travel or special events.

This is a full-time role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a flexible and proactive approach. A valid driving licence is a bonus but not essential. Both live-in and live-out options are available to accommodate the candidate’s preferences.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper / Nanny: 

• Cleaning and maintaining a seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom home, including main living areas.
• Cleaning delicate surfaces like marble, wood, and stone with care.
• Laundry and ironing for all household members, keeping items organised.
• Tidying and maintaining a clean, organised home.
• Performing seasonal deep cleaning and caring for household items.
• Preparing breakfast for the family’s four children.
• Providing occasional childcare support for the four children.
• Assisting with routine tasks, such as mealtime supervision.
• Engaging with children to maintain a nurturing environment.
• Occasional travel with the family, assisting as needed.
• Managing and organising wardrobes, ensuring clothing is properly cared for and stored. 

 

Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper / Nanny job:

• 3 years of housekeeper / nanny experience
• Checkable references
• UK working permit
• DBS check
