PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER NANNY

BEARSDEN | GLASGOW | GB

Salary: £13–£17 gross per hour

A private family based in Bearsden, Glasgow, is seeking a reliable and organised part-time live-out Housekeeper Nanny to help with the day-to-day running of their home and the care of their school-aged children.
The family has four children, although the two older children are largely independent. The two younger children will be the main focus of the childcare. The position is for two full days per week, approximately 8.00 am–6.00 pm.
During term time, housekeeping will be the main focus while the children are at school. Duties will include general cleaning, laundry, ironing, household organisation and family cooking. Before and after school, the role will include helping the younger children with their routines, school collections, homework and activities.
During school holidays, more of the working day will naturally be focused on the children. The professional should enjoy spending time with school-aged children and be happy to keep them occupied with play, activities, baking and other suitable entertainment.
The family enjoys simple home-cooked meals, desserts and occasional baking. The Housekeeper Nanny should be comfortable following recipes and preparing meals in accordance with the family’s halal dietary requirements.
Driving is required for school collections, activities and occasional errands, and the professional will need their own reliable car.
The family’s current professional has been with them for approximately 12 years, reflecting their preference for a stable and long-term working relationship. They are looking for someone dependable, trustworthy and organised who is comfortable working independently and moving between housekeeping and childcare as needed..
Only professionals with a valid right to work in the United Kingdom, strong checkable references and a current DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one, will be considered.
