This live-out part-time housekeeper position will involve managing all general housekeeping duties for a two-storey home with four bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen, and three bathrooms. The household includes two children, there may be occasional child-related errands or school runs required on an ad-hoc basis.
The role is focused on ensuring that the property remains clean, organised, and presentable at all times. The successful candidate will work closely with the family to maintain the household’s day-to-day needs, offering flexibility and initiative in the execution of their duties.
In this position, the housekeeper will be expected to work 15 hours per week, spread over Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with five hours each day. Working hours will fall between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. The housekeeper will also be responsible for regular laundry and ironing tasks, changing bed linens, and organising the family's groceries, particularly on Mondays. Occasionally, the housekeeper may be asked to assist with grocery shopping, running errands such as post office trips, or handling ad-hoc school drop-offs and pick-ups for the children. While regular cooking is not a requirement, there may be occasional requests to assist with light meal preparation.
The successful candidate should be hardworking, trustworthy, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative. As the family’s trusted housekeeper, discretion and reliability are key.
