Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a professional and discreet Live-Out Housekeeper to join a fully staffed, elegant residence in the heart of Monaco. This contemporary penthouse apartment, situated in one of the principality’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, offers refined interiors, a large terrace with stunning views, and a calm yet dynamic atmosphere reflective of the international family residing within.
The client, a warm and vibrant Canadian-Australian principal, lives with her family and is supported by a dedicated team comprising a live-in nanny, a private chef, and two housekeepers. The nanny has full responsibility for the care of the one-year-old child, and no childcare duties are expected from the housekeeper. The household is well-structured, highly professional, and respectful, creating a positive and welcoming working environment.
The property consists of five beautifully appointed bedrooms and five bathrooms across two floors, along with a spacious living area, a stylish lodge, and a generously sized terrace. Three of the bedrooms and bathrooms are in daily use, while the remaining guest suites are typically used between May and July.
The successful candidate will work alongside two experienced housekeepers and will be expected to maintain exceptionally high standards across all aspects of housekeeping.
Duties will include thorough daily cleaning, tidying and organising living spaces, wardrobe and inventory management (including clothing and jewellery), setting tables for formal and informal dining, preparing guest rooms, and assisting with occasional events and soirées. Ensuring that the household remains well-stocked, running errands, and assisting with the family’s small dog—such as occasional walking or basic care—are also part of the role.
While the household chef is responsible for preparing meals for the family and staff, the housekeeper may occasionally be asked to prepare light meals or snacks, particularly for the baby, under guidance. A strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and flexibility is essential. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and French, comfortable working in a team environment, and confident in a varied, fast-paced setting where every day may differ.
Working hours are from 13:00 to 20:30, five to six days per week, depending on the household’s requirements. Flexibility is key, and occasional travel with the family may be requested. Paid annual leave is provided, and the position is offered on a full-time basis with a three-month trial period.

Main duties of the Full Time Housekeeper:
- Cleaning and maintaining a modern Monaco penthouse to an exceptional standard
- Tidying and organising living areas, bedrooms, and bathrooms (5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms in total, 3 currently in use)
- Supporting full UHNW wardrobe management, including seasonal rotations and inventory upkeep
- Assisting with clothing and jewellery inventories
- Preparing guest rooms and maintaining readiness for visitors (especially during summer months)
- Setting and clearing tables for dinners, soirées, and informal gatherings
- Supporting the chef with occasional light meal or snack preparation, particularly for the toddler, under guidance
- Running errands and shopping to maintain household stock levels
- Liaising with other staff members to ensure smooth daily household operation
- Assisting with pet care, including dog walking and basic grooming
- Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a pristine condition (coordinating with valet services if necessary)
- Travelling with the client on occasion if required
- Maintaining discretion, professionalism, and utmost confidentiality at all times
Requirements for The Full-Time Housekeeper job:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a private UHNW household
- Fluent in English and French
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fully staffed private household
- Strong knowledge of wardrobe care, including delicate and couture garments
- Experience working with UHNW families and high-end residences
- Ability to work well in a small team and follow directions precisely
- Comfortable around dogs and willing to assist with basic pet care
- Basic cooking skills to support chef and prepare simple snacks if needed
- Willingness to travel with the family on occasion
