The household is comprised of three adults (including one elderly principal) and two children, with two beloved cats also part of the family dynamic. The Wentworth Estate, internationally recognised for its exclusive properties and renowned golf course, offers a beautiful and secure working environment, surrounded by nature and tranquillity.
As this is a live-out position in the countryside, it is essential that applicants hold a valid driving licence, as the estate is not easily accessible via public transport. The ideal candidate will be local or confident commuting to this area independently.
The position of housekeeper cook within a private family setting is highly valued and multifaceted. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily running of the household, with particular attention to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, laundry care, and wardrobe organisation. In addition, the candidate must be confident in preparing fresh, seasonal English cuisine, tailored to the family's preferences and dietary requirements. Experience in managing household inventory, handling silverware, and liaising with external contractors will be key in maintaining a well-organised and efficiently run residence.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:
- Daily general housekeeping to a high standard across all areas of the home
- Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management for adults and children
- Preparation of nutritious, home-cooked English meals primarily for the adults and children
- Table setting and service where required, including care of silverware
- Monitoring and restocking of kitchen and household supplies
- Overseeing contractors and external tradespeople when required
- Ensuring the home remains clean, well-organised and welcoming at all times
- Pet care (feeding and light duties) for two cats
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper cook experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
