Job Overview:
Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a full-time live-out Housekeeper to join a distinguished family residing in a beautiful 2-storey property in Oxshott, Surrey. The family consists of a couple and their four children, with the older children visiting the residence every other week. A nanny is already employed to assist with the care of the youngest child, so the role will focus primarily on housekeeping and supporting the family's day-to-day needs.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is discreet, caring, and an all-rounder, with a strong work ethic and a genuine love for both children and pets. As a member of this household, you will seamlessly integrate into the family’s daily life, becoming a trusted and reliable team member. A can-do attitude and flexibility will be essential to ensure the smooth running of the home.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the family home to the highest standard, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in every room. This will involve regular cleaning of the household, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens. Laundry and ironing will be key tasks, ensuring that all clothing and linens are beautifully presented and organised. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable home for the family to enjoy.
Beyond housekeeping, you will play a supportive role in the daily routines of the family. On the rare occasions when the nanny is unavailable, you will assist with picking up the children from school. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing simple, wholesome meals, including breakfast every day and meal prep two to three times a week and setting the table for family meals. You will also assist with some household administrative duties, such as managing inventory and running errands. A full, clean driving license is a requirement for this role, as you will be required to run errands and, at times, assist with school runs.
Job Details:

- Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 gross per year
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)
- Working Hours: 7am to 3pm
- Language: English, Portuguese (bonus)
- Start Date: ASAP
Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook:
