The principal lives independently, without pets, and may occasionally welcome a friend to visit. She is looking for a conscientious professional who can take pride in maintaining her home to an excellent standard, paying particular attention to deep cleaning, bedding, and the care of wooden floors. The successful candidate will also enjoy preparing home-style meals, adapting their cooking to the principal's gluten-free, vegetarian, and diabetic dietary requirements. This position offers flexibility, with working days to be agreed directly with the principal.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:

Carry out thorough deep cleaning of the studio apartment, maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and fittings, paying particular attention to areas requiring detailed care.
Clean and maintain wooden floors using appropriate products and methods to preserve their appearance and condition.
Maintain the kitchen, bathroom, and living areas in an immaculate and hygienic condition.
Change, arrange, and prepare bedding, ensuring that the sleeping area is clean, fresh, and properly presented.
Prepare home-style meals according to the principal's preferences and dietary requirements.
Prepare suitable gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, taking particular care with ingredient selection and food preparation.
Follow the principal's dietary instructions relating to diabetes, preparing balanced meals in accordance with her preferences and any guidance provided.
Maintain excellent kitchen hygiene, safe food storage practices, and appropriate food-handling standards.
