Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present an excellent opportunity for a professional Part-Time Live-Out Housekeeper Cook to join a warm and welcoming family currently based in Mayfair and relocating to South Kensington within one month. The household consists of two principals and their six-month-old baby, with a second baby expected in the summer. This is a permanent position suited to a friendly, calm, and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards within a private home.
The family are presently residing in a four-bedroom property in Mayfair and will shortly move to a seven-bedroom residence in South Kensington. The successful candidate must therefore be comfortable commuting to either location, as the move will significantly change the geographical base of work.
This is a combined housekeeping and cooking role. The Housekeeper Cook will oversee the cleanliness, organisation, and overall presentation of the property, including careful maintenance of antiques, marble surfaces, and wooden finishes. As not all rooms are used daily, a structured rotational cleaning system will be required. Cooking duties involve preparing healthy evening meals for the two principals, typically protein with vegetables, together with simple, age-appropriate meals for a baby who has recently started weaning.
Occasional errands may also be required.In due course, the Housekeeper Cook will collaborate with a nanny once appointed, therefore a cooperative and adaptable approach is essential.

Main duties of the Housekeeper/Cook:
- Full housekeeping to a high private household standard
- Detailed cleaning and specialist care of marble, wood, and antiques
- Laundry and ironing
- Implementing and maintaining a rotational cleaning schedule
- Preparing healthy dinners for two principals
- Preparing simple weaning-stage meals for a six-month-old baby
- Maintaining overall household organisation and order
- Running occasional household errands
- Working collaboratively with a nanny in the future
Requirements for this Housekeeper/Cook job:
- Minimum three years of relevant private household experience
- Valid work permit
- Experience preparing healthy, home-style meals
- Excellent checkable references
