A lovely, established family based in the heart of Richmond is seeking a talented and experienced Part-Time Housekeeper Cook to join their household on a permanent basis. The family resides across a beautifully maintained three-storey home and values a peaceful, well-organised, and harmonious household environment above all else. With two young children at home, the family are looking for a warm yet professional individual who naturally integrates into family life whilst maintaining clear and respectful professional boundaries. Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation of family dinners on all working days, catering to the dietary preferences and restrictions of all family members, including a child with a nut intolerance, a shellfish-free requirement, and a red-meat-free option
- Occasional preparation of light lunches for the principals when working from home
- Weekly meal planning and grocery management, either in-store or online, in consultation with the family
- General housekeeping across all three floors of the property, with particular attention to the kitchen, living areas, and children's playroom
- Daily tidying and maintenance of household cleanliness and order
- Laundry management, including washing, ironing, and the care of garments
- Wardrobe management and seasonal organisation
- Thorough cleaning of bathrooms and shared spaces, utilising eco-friendly and natural cleaning products where possible
- Management and restocking of household cleaning supplies and pantry essentials
- Adapting to accommodate occasional extended family visits with seamless professionalism
- Maintaining the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality
- Working harmoniously alongside the family, particularly around young children
Minimum Requirements
- Three or more years of private Housekeeper Cook experience within a private household setting
- 2 excellent, verbally checkable references from previous private employers
- Conversational English
- Valid UK work permit
- DBS certificate
