Main duties of the housekeeper/cook:
- Planning menu
- Preparing daily meals
- Following menu
- Keeping kitchen clean and organised
- Comply with all Hygiene, Health & Safety Legislation
- Cleaning the bathrooms, including maintaining the bath, basin and toilet in a sanitary condition
- Undertaking the laundry, washing and ironing
- Changing bed linen regularly
- General household cleaning, dusting and polishing
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy
- Keeping kitchen equipment and appliances clean and in good order
- Maintaining the supply of cleaning materials and equipment
- Watering household plants
- Keeping cupboards, wardrobes and drawers tidy and well ordered
- Reporting domestic maintenance issues to the employer
Requirements for this housekeeper/cook job:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience within a private family
- Excellent checkable references
- DBS check
- UK working permit
- Experience in cooking Mediterranean and West Asian cuisines
