The principal has recently moved into a beautifully renovated four-storey, three-bedroom property and is seeking a reliable domestic professional to establish and maintain the home to an exceptional standard from the outset. Chelsea is one of London's most desirable residential locations, offering outstanding amenities, attractive green spaces, and excellent transport connections. This role would suit an experienced Housekeeper/Cook who takes pride in working independently, uses initiative, and enjoys taking ownership of a well-maintained private household.

This is a permanent, live-out, part-time position offering 15 hours per week. The principal is flexible regarding the working pattern, with either three or five working days per week available depending on the successful candidate's availability. Working as a Housekeeper/Cook within this household involves maintaining immaculate housekeeping standards while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the home with meal preparation, garden care, household organisation, and careful attention to detail. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, requiring minimal supervision while maintaining consistently high standards throughout the property.

Working as a Housekeeper/Cook in this household involves taking full responsibility for the presentation, cleanliness, and organisation of the home while preparing simple family style meals through batch cooking and meal preparation. Responsibilities include daily resets, scheduled deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, basic wardrobe care, guest room preparation, arranging dry cleaning, and maintaining organised storage areas throughout the property. The role also includes caring for delicate marble surfaces, carrying out light garden tidying such as sweeping and watering, and ensuring the home remains beautifully presented at all times. Main duties of this Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook:

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the four-storey private home
Completing scheduled deep cleaning and daily household resets
Laundry, ironing, linen care, and basic wardrobe management
Changing bed linen and towels regularly
Preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms for occasional visitors
Arranging and managing dry cleaning services
Organising cupboards, storage areas, and maintaining household organisation
Caring for delicate household finishes, including marble surfaces
Preparing simple family style meals through meal preparation and batch cooking
Maintaining the kitchen to an immaculate standard
Carrying out light garden tidying, including sweeping and watering
Monitoring household supplies and reporting any requirements to the principal
Working independently, proactively, and using initiative without constant supervision
Maintaining the highest standards of household presentation at all times
