The position demands a polished professional with the ability to deliver outstanding housekeeping and light cooking services to the highest standards.
Chelsea, with its refined charm and vibrant atmosphere, is one of London’s most sought-after residential areas. Known for its elegant architecture, upscale boutiques, fine dining establishments, and excellent transport links, the area offers an ideal setting for private staff accustomed to working in prestigious and discerning households.
We are seeking a well-presented, personable, and highly competent individual with demonstrable experience working within ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) households. The successful candidate will become part of a rota team comprising three housekeepers, operating on a 3-days on / 3-days off basis. Shifts are scheduled to provide full coverage between the hours of 6:30am and 8:00pm. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can seamlessly integrate into a formally run, team-oriented environment while upholding discretion, professionalism, and the utmost respect for privacy.

Main duties of the Housekeeper/Cook:
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, showers, bathtubs, and sinks
- Maintaining designated areas in an organised and presentable manner
- Making beds and changing bed linen regularly
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping all floors
- Cleaning interior windows and glass surfaces
- Polishing cutlery and silverware
- Performing laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing
- Caring for delicate garments and managing dry-cleaning arrangements
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean towels, toiletries, and essentials
- Emptying bins and managing recycling
- Steaming and cleaning drapery and blinds
- Tidying rooms and common spaces to a high standard
- Monitoring stock of household and cleaning supplies
- Reporting any necessary maintenance or repairs
- Running errands and assisting the principal with ad hoc requests
- Greeting guests and preparing refreshments as needed
- Managing incoming deliveries and coordinating with contractors
- Booking maintenance appointments when required
- Occasional breakfast preparation or light meal service
- Optional travel flexibility
- Working as part of a professional household team
- Discretion and professionalism at all time
Requirements for this Housekeeper/Cook job:
- 3+ years of relevant private housekeeping and cooking experience
- Excellent checkable references
- Strong knowledge of English
- UK working permit
