PERMANENT PART-TIME LIVE-OUT HOUSEKEEPER COOK JOB
BARNET | LONDON | GB
SALARY: £20 TO £25 GROSS PER HOUR

A friendly, busy household in North West London is looking for a part-time Housekeeper Cook to keep the home running smoothly and the kitchen at the heart of it. The family is preparing for a new chapter and would love a warm, capable and reliable professional to take care of the everyday running of the home.
Cooking is a real part of this role. You will be preparing fresh, home-cooked meals that the family can enjoy, following their recipes and preferences, and getting to know their tastes over time. The menu is wholesome and comforting rather than complicated. Think soups, stews, rice dishes, a variety of pasta, and family favourites such as spaghetti Bolognese or salmon served with rice and vegetables. Recipes will be provided, so you do not need to be a gourmet chef. You simply need to be a confident, reliable home cook who enjoys good, honest food and follows a recipe well.
The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping. They would like a professional who sees what needs doing and gets on with it, and who is comfortable asking questions when something is unclear. The employer is on hand to explain how things work and to share instructions.
There are no childcare duties, but the successful professional will be at ease working in a lively home with young babies. It is a smoke-free, pet-free and allergy-free household, which makes for a comfortable working environment. Many professionals combine a role like this with another part-time position, which makes it a good fit if you are looking to build a full working week.
