A Housekeeper Cook in a private residence plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home. Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper Cook:
- Care for four dogs, including walking, feeding, and maintaining their well-being. Two of the dogs are guard dogs, so confidence around animals is essential.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of a modern four-floor, seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom property.
- Complete daily housekeeping duties, including laundry, ironing, changing bed linen, and caring for delicate materials.
- Manage contractors, deliveries, and household maintenance appointments efficiently.
- Prepare healthy, balanced meals such as salads, grilled meats, and light dishes, in line with the principal’s dietary preferences (no shellfish or pork).
- Occasionally cook for small family gatherings of up to six persons.
- Ensure the home, including the swimming pool, gym, and sauna areas, is always tidy and well-maintained.
- Report any maintenance or household issues promptly and follow up as required.
- Driving licence is beneficial; a car may be provided, if needed.
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper Cook job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- UK working permit
- Self-employed status
