PERMANENT PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER COOK

Salary: £15 – £20 gross per hour
A private family based in Leicester, Leicestershire, is seeking an experienced and reliable Part-Time Housekeeper Cook to join their household on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated domestic professional who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming home whilst providing simple, nutritious meals for a busy family environment.
The household consists of two adults and four children, and the family is looking for a trustworthy, proactive and organised individual who can independently manage the daily housekeeping responsibilities whilst supporting the smooth running of the home. The ideal candidate will have previous private household experience, excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for creating a comfortable and well-maintained living environment.
Housekeeping will form the main focus of the role, with responsibility for maintaining the property to a high standard. Duties will include general cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, household organisation and monitoring household supplies. The successful candidate will also assist with basic family cooking, preparing simple and healthy meals suitable for the household.

Main duties of the Housekeeper/Cook:
- Complete all housekeeping duties to a high standard throughout the property.
- Clean, tidy and organise the home.
- Carry out laundry, ironing and wardrobe care.
- Maintain excellent household organisation and presentation.
- Change and refresh bed linen when required.
- Monitor household supplies and replenish essentials as needed.
- Keep kitchens and household areas clean and organised.
- Prepare simple, healthy and family-friendly meals for the household.
- Assist with grocery shopping and household errands when required.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
- Provide care and attention to household pets when required.
Requirements for this Housekeeper/Cook job:
- Previous experience working as a Housekeeper Cook within a private household.
- Good spoken English essential.
- Warm, organised, proactive and reliable.
- Confident supporting both housekeeping and cooking.
- Happy to prepare simple family meals when required.
- Child-friendly.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
