Perfect Household Staff is proud to present an exceptional opportunity for a full-time, live-in housekeeper/cook position in the beautiful Isle of Man. This temporary role offers the possibility of becoming permanent, depending on the compatibility between the client and the candidate. The ideal applicant will be an experienced, proactive, and reliable housekeeper who possesses excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
The Isle of Man is renowned for its stunning coastal views, peaceful lifestyle, and welcoming communities. Located in a serene area, this five-bedroom residence provides a comfortable and well-appointed environment in which to work. The house is occupied by a warm and informal family of three, including a newborn baby. While the role is live-in, accommodation is private and situated on a separate floor of the house, featuring a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
We are seeking a child-friendly and pet-friendly candidate who is confident in their housekeeping abilities and capable of managing a home to a high standard. Although no pet care is required, the family has two dogs—a golden retriever and a Yorkshire terrier—so comfort around animals is essential. Cooking duties are basic and straightforward, requiring someone confident in preparing simple family meals. The household is informal, and no uniform is necessary; however, appropriate presentation is expected.

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook:
- General housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Ensuring bathrooms and kitchen are kept clean and hygienic
- Laundry: washing, ironing, folding, and changing bed linens
- Tidying and organising all rooms, including bedrooms and communal areas
- Preparing basic family meals as requested by the principals
- Running occasional errands when required
- Maintaining a neat, clean, and well-presented household environment
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant private housekeeping experience
- Child-friendly and pet-friendly disposition
- Two excellent checkable references
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Fluent English
