Perfect Household Staff is offering a fantastic new full-time live-in housekeeper/cook opportunity in Coln St Aldwyns, Cirencester. The Principal is a lady who is in need of a professional full-time live-in housekeeper/cook with excellent communication and cooking skills, as well as reliability.

We are seeking a dedicated professional who is looking for a long-term commitment. We are in search of a housekeeper/cook who is full of energy, flexible, and adept at organizing a household to a high standard.
The ideal candidate should be mature, efficient, trustworthy, organized, reliable, and dedicated to their profession, with a genuine passion for caring for the Principal and managing the household.
The candidate will be responsible for the overall cleaning of the 2-floor, 6-bedroom cottage.
Duties will include cooking traditional British meals, vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing/wiping down surfaces, dusting, cleaning the bathrooms and kitchens, emptying and loading the dishwasher, and handling laundry and ironing. It's a five-day working week with days off on either Tuesday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Thursday, working hours from 8 am to 4 pm, with occasional split shifts when parties are held.
The Principal is a happy owner of a friendly spaniel dog; therefore, we are looking for a candidate who feels comfortable with dogs and has no allergies.
Only candidates who have the eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for this role.

Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm; occasional 8:00am - 11:30 am and evening hours
Salary: 38 000 – 45 000 GBP / Year Gross

Main duties of the Housekeeper:
- Cooking traditional British meals.
- Present/ serve food during dinner parties (occasional).
- Grocery shopping (weekly as instructed).
- General tidying or cleaning of bedrooms/ bathrooms/ living room / kitchen etc; clean surfaces/ wipe down mirrors/ organising all cupboards.
- Performing laundry tasks and determining which fabrics require dry cleaning or can be machine washed.
- Occasional dog care.
- Driving.
Requirements for this Housekeeper job:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent checkable references
- DBS check
- UK working permit
- Good command of English
