We are therefore actively seeking a reliable, flexible, easy-going and positive professional who is proactive, detail-oriented, and who is ready to join the family on four days per week basis. In this housekeeper position, there is no deep cleaning of toilets or floors as a cleaning agency comes in on a regular basis but more of a general upkeep and management of the home environment.
The family owns three properties located in close vicinity. The housekeeping responsibilities will include working in each of the properties, taking into account the specific duties required by each of the properties.
In the main house where the family resides, the housekeeper cook is expected to organise the kitchen area, deep clean the kitchen, maintain cleanliness of the refrigerator and all surfaces, sort groceries, organise proper food storage, make beds, change bed linens, and do laundry and ironing.
In the home office, the housekeeper is required to wipe down kitchen surfaces, ensure that the coffee machine has water, all utensils and cups are washed and ready for use. They will be required to monitor cleaning supplies and order new supplies in advance.
In the guest house, it is necessary to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, change bed linens, do laundry, and ensure the availability of necessary supplies.
Please note that the main focus of this position is on sanitation and maintaining ideal order in the kitchen areas, as well as preparing healthy food. The typical housekeeper duties such as deep cleaning of the entire property will not be required as the family also hire a cleaning company. Although of course, normal housekeeper duties such as dusting and general property cleaning will be necessary.
The family owns a friendly dog, so we are looking for a candidate who is comfortable with animals and has no allergies.

Main duties of the Part Time Housekeeper/Cook:
- Keeping kitchen clean and organised
- Comply with all Hygiene, Health & Safety standards
- Keeping kitchen equipment and appliances clean and in good order
- Ensuring a well-organised and clutter-free kitchen area
- Cooking healthy family style meals
- Taking deliveries at the door
- Maintaining the supply of cleaning materials
- Restocking supplies and toiletries as needed
- Working with high level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Handling laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes
- Loading dishwasher
- Making beds, replenishing linens
- Maintaining cleanliness of the refrigerator
Requirements for this Part Time Housekeeper/Cook job:
- 3 years of housekeeper experience
- Checkable references
