This is a live-out position. Due to the requirement to work across two different properties, the successful housekeeper cook should have a reliable method of transport. A personal vehicle would be a significant advantage, particularly for running errands and travelling between households, although it is not an essential requirement.

The housekeeper cook will play an important role in supporting the daily running of both family homes. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a pro-active approach, and the ability to maintain high standards across multiple areas of household management.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:

Maintaining both properties to an excellent standard, ensuring all rooms are clean, organised, and well-presented.
Completing regular housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and maintaining living areas.
Managing laundry and ironing duties, ensuring clothing and household linens are cared for appropriately.
Preparing simple, home-style meals for the families according to their preferences.
Monitoring household supplies and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Ordering groceries, cleaning products, and household essentials when required.
Assisting with the smooth organisation of both households and ensuring daily routines are maintained.
Running occasional errands using personal transport where available.
Supporting the families with general household tasks when needed.
Demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and discretion when working within private family environments.
Maintaining a positive attitude and building a professional relationship with both families.
Assisting with light gardening tasks where required would be considered an advantage, although it is not an essential requirement.

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:

Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
Two excellent checkable references
Conversational English
UK working permit
