Working as a housekeeper cook in a private household requires excellent attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage a variety of domestic responsibilities efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the property, managing laundry and bed linen changes, and assisting with the preparation of simple, healthy meals. The principals have specific dietary preferences, including dairy-free and gluten-free meals, with simple preparations of fish, meat, and chicken, avoiding garlic, onions, and rich sauces. Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper Cook:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the apartment to a high standard.
- Performing general housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Managing household laundry, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation.
- Changing bed linen and ensuring bedrooms remain immaculate and welcoming.
- Preparing simple meals in accordance with the principals' dietary requirements.
- Assisting with food preparation, including peeling potatoes, washing vegetables, and preparing basic ingredients.
- Preparing plain fish, meat, and chicken dishes without sauces, garlic, onions, dairy, or gluten-containing ingredients.
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and hygienic at all times.
- Monitoring household supplies and informing the principals when replenishment is required.
- Ensuring the home remains comfortable, organised, and well maintained.
- Providing flexible support with additional household duties as required.
- Maintaining a professional, caring, and respectful approach at all times.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper Cook job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
