The household already employs a cleaner, meaning housekeeping and laundry responsibilities will be limited, allowing the housekeeper cook to dedicate most of the working time to meal preparation, grocery shopping, and assisting with family logistics.

This live-out housekeeper cook position is located in Windsor, an attractive and well-connected area with excellent transport links and access to local amenities. The role would suit a professional who enjoys working in a family environment and appreciates a varied position combining cooking, household support, and occasional family assistance.

The housekeeper cook will be responsible for preparing enjoyable and nutritious home-style meals based on the family’s preferences. The principals provide meal preference sheets to assist with planning, and there are no dietary restrictions. The successful candidate should also be comfortable assisting with errands, grocery shopping, and school runs when required. A driving licence is required, as the candidate may use their own vehicle or a manual transmission vehicle provided by the principals for these duties.

Main duties of the Rota Housekeeper Cook:

Preparing fresh, home-style meals suitable for the whole family, particularly child-friendly dishes such as pasta, pizza, hamburgers, and other preferred meals.
Following the family’s meal preferences and adapting menus according to their requirements.
Planning meals, organising ingredients, and completing grocery shopping for the household.
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment after food preparation.
Assisting the household cleaner with light housekeeping tasks when required.
Supporting limited laundry and household organisation duties alongside the existing cleaner.
Completing school drop-offs and pick-ups for the children when needed.
Running household errands and assisting with general family organisation.
Travelling with the family occasionally to destinations such as the USA and the Bahamas, if required.
Maintaining a positive, flexible, and helpful attitude within a busy family environment.
Providing discreet and reliable support while respecting the family’s privacy.
Caring for the family dog when required only as part of general household support; dedicated pet care is not included in the role.
