Perfect Household Staff is delighted to present a superb opportunity for an experienced and refined Housekeeper Cook to join a welcoming family of four residing in a prestigious 500 square metre, four-bedroom apartment in Milan, conveniently located near Isola station. The family includes two teenage children and values a high standard of service and cooking, flexibility, and a discreet, professional approach. The principals appreciate beautifully prepared Italian meals, and one family member follows a gluten-free diet, therefore attention to detail and dietary awareness are essential.
Working as a live-out Housekeeper Cook within this well-structured household offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative domestic team, which includes a hands-on House Manager, a live-in Housekeeper, a Governess, and a Chauffeur. The role requires maintaining the apartment to an impeccable standard, with particular care for marble and wooden surfaces, as well as managing laundry and ironing to a high finish.
The Housekeeper Cook will be responsible for preparing daily meals focused on Italian cuisine, ensuring variety, nutritional balance, and excellent presentation. On occasions when the family entertains up to 12 guests, the role will involve planning, cooking, and serving meals to a fine standard. Grocery shopping, kitchen organisation, and occasional school drop-offs and pick-ups using the family’s automatic vehicle may also be required.
Although the family’s primary language is Italian, good knowledge of English is necessary in order to communicate confidently with international guests.

Job Details:
Working Days: Five days a week with ad-hoc occupancy on Saturdays
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with overtime paid additionally

Main duties of the Full-Time Housekeeper Cook:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the 500 square metre apartment to a high standard, including specialist care of marble and wooden surfaces.
- Managing laundry and ironing for the family, ensuring garments are treated appropriately and finished to an excellent standard.
- Planning and preparing high-quality Italian meals, including gluten-free options, with attention to nutrition, flavour, and presentation.
- Cooking and serving for family events of up to 12 guests, demonstrating flexibility and high standards of service.
- Conducting grocery shopping and maintaining well-organised kitchen stock control.
- Collaborating effectively with the House Manager and other household staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Communicating confidently in Italian and English with family members and guests.
- Assisting with occasional school drop-offs and pick-ups when required, using the family’s automatic vehicle.
Requirements for this Full-Time Housekeeper Cook job:
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational Italian and English
- EU working permit
