The household consists of four family members living permanently in a spacious five-bedroom home set across three floors. The family are friendly, respectful, and value a calm, organised household environment where cleanliness and attention to detail are essential.
One of the children has asthma and allergies, therefore maintaining a high standard of hygiene throughout the home is particularly important. The family are also environmentally conscious and prefer the use of eco-friendly cleaning products in their household.

Working as a professional Housekeeper Cook in this household involves maintaining the home to an immaculate standard while also assisting with the preparation of healthy family meals. Duties will include all general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and household organisation.
Cooking responsibilities will primarily involve preparing healthy snacks for the children and assisting with dinner preparation, focusing on simple Mediterranean-style meals such as proteins with fresh vegetables. One member of the household follows a gluten-free diet due to coeliac requirements, therefore familiarity with gluten-free cooking such as gluten-free pasta or bread alternatives would be beneficial.

Main duties of the Housekeeper/Cook:
- Maintaining the household to an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness across the five-bedroom property set over three floors
- Performing all general housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining organised living spaces
- Laundry and ironing duties including wardrobe care and organisation
- Preparing healthy snacks for the children and assisting with dinner preparation for the family
- Cooking simple, balanced Mediterranean-style meals including fresh vegetables and proteins
- Preparing gluten-free meal options when required due to coeliac dietary requirements within the household
- Using eco-friendly cleaning products and maintaining environmentally conscious household practices
- Carrying out deep cleaning tasks, particularly during periods when the family are travelling
- Managing household supplies and ensuring necessary products are replenished
- Maintaining a clean, allergy-conscious environment suitable for a child with asthma and allergies
- Working independently and taking full responsibility for the smooth running of the household
Requirements for this Housekeeper job:
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant private housekeeping experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational English
- Valid UK work permit
