The family resides in a beautifully maintained three-storey, five-bedroom period property, surrounded by the charm and character for which the area is known. The household is lively and busy, consisting of six children aged 2, 5, 8, 10, 12, and 15, as well as two elderly relatives. The family also employs two nannies, a chef, and part-time cleaners, ensuring a collaborative and well-supported working environment. The principals are looking for a hard-working, energetic, and positive individual who enjoys taking initiative and has strong organisational and leadership abilities.

As a Head Housekeeper, you will oversee all housekeeping operations to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and order throughout the home. Main duties of the Full-Time Head Housekeeper:

• Managing and supervising two part-time cleaners to ensure the highest housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the property.
• Conducting regular spot checks of rooms for cleanliness and presentation.
• Overseeing all laundry operations, including washing, ironing, and coordinating with dry-cleaning services.
• Working in collaboration with two nannies and a private chef to ensure smooth household operations.
• Ordering household and cleaning supplies, and maintaining detailed inventory records.
• Coordinating with contractors and suppliers during the ongoing renovation of the property.
• Assisting with the organisation and preparation of events hosted by the principals for business associates.
• Ensuring wooden floors are maintained correctly using the specialised cleaning products provided by the principals.
• Communicating effectively with the principals and other household staff to ensure all needs are met efficiently.
• Driving duties as required (a driving licence and personal vehicle are an advantage).

Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:

• 3+ years of housekeeper experience
• 2 excellent checkable references
• Conversational English
• UK working permit
