Job Overview:

Three warm families with residences in Pimlico, South Kensington, and near the Raffles Hotel in Mayfair, are seeking a dedicated, full-time on-call Handyman to maintain their properties to an immaculate standard.

The residences are used regularly by family members, and the properties must be kept in perfect working condition year-round. This is an on-call, live-out position requiring the professional to remain available and responsive to maintenance requests across all three Central London locations.

The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, discreet, and capable of managing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks efficiently. A driving licence and own vehicle are required for commuting between properties.The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and minor refurbishments across three luxury apartments.

The employer expects someone proactive and skilled who can identify issues, propose practical solutions, and either fix them personally or organise and supervise external contractors when necessary.

Starting Date: 1st December 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate)

Accommodation: Live-out (own vehicle required for commuting)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carrying out general property maintenance including minor repairs, and basic plumbing or electrical work
Identifying and resolving issues before they escalate
Supervising and coordinating external contractors (e.g. plumbers, electricians, HVAC specialists)
Conducting routine property inspections to ensure all systems are operational
Repairing or replacing fixtures, fittings, appliances, and minor carpentry tasks
Ensuring all tools, materials, and supplies are kept in order
Managing minor refurbishment or renovation works when required
Maintaining excellent communication with the family representative regarding completed and ongoing works
Upholding high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and discretion at all times
